PFTA will operate per the following regulations:
Although PFTA handles all requests on a critical need / case-by-case basis, ordinary public assistance may be requested no more than 3 times in a 12 month period. (More frequent help may be made available if a genuine need is established.) Only one individual per household/address is eligible to receive pet food. We will consider special requests for certain formulas or flavors of food (ex. senior, grain-free, etc) but cannot guarantee availability.
PFTA reserves the right to make exceptions based on individual need, to require proof of financial status and to refuse anyone under any circumstance at any time. All assistance depends on availability. Pet food through this program is not to be resold under any circumstance.
PAWSitively for the Animals is NOT a veterinary service. PFTA does not have the means to obtain a veterinary appointment for your pet. We are simply a financial assistance resource to pet owners. You, as the pet owner, are solely responsible for obtaining a Veterinarian and scheduling an appointment.
By accepting food, the recipient and all household members agree to hold PAWsitively for the Animals harmless
in the event that the recipient's pet(s) become ill.
